Thorndon Fair 6th Dec, 2009 – If you’re planning on heading out to attend one of Wellingtons best
fairs, the Thorndon Fair, then I guess we’ll see you there. Children on the Edge and Charlie’s are
gearing up for the summer season and the Thorndon Fair is the first stop.
We’ll be selling the ever popular thirst quencher Charlie’s Old Fashioned Lemonade in all your
favourite flavours, so be sure to come along and support us.
Waitangi Day, Saturday 6th Feb, 2010 – Waitangi Day celebrations at Waitangi park will have the
addition of the Children on the Edge Charlie’s Old Fashioned Lemonade stand!
Waitangi day is a day all New Zealanders join together to celebrate, so we hope you can make it
down to the festivities.
Volunteers – If you would like to help us out at either of these events by working an hour or two
or four selling Charlie’s Old Fashioned Lemonade AND raising funds for Children on the Edge call

Past events...
If you were one of the thousands who celebrated Waitangi Day at One Love, or attended the Cuba
Street Carnival, then you may have been one of the hundreds of people who purchased a Charlie’s
Old Fashioned Lemonade from our Lemonade stand.
Charlie’s came onboard to support the event by donating hundreds of bottles of Lemonade
(traditional Lemonade, Raspberry Lemonade and Mango & Orange Lemonade).
We sold hundreds of bottles of which all the proceeds went to the children we support! In fact
we sold enough to provide nutritious meals for over 40 children for an entire year!
The sun shone on both days and our teams of Lemonade stand volunteers had a great time too!
We just wanna give a big shout out and thanks to the team at Charlie’s and our wonderful volunteers
for making these two days so much fun and such a success!
